1. General provisions and the controller

The controller of the faeo.pl website and of the data processed in connection with cookies is LIC COMPANY Sp. z o.o. (the FAEO brand), ul. Klonowa 105/81, 25-553 Kielce, Poland, NIP: 9592088245. Contact: kontakt@faeo.pl.

This Cookie Policy supplements the Privacy Policy and should be read together with that document.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files saved on your device while you use the website. They allow us, among other things, to ensure the website works correctly, analyse traffic and carry out marketing activities.

We also use similar technologies, including the browser's local storage (localStorage). In the faeo_consent_v1 key we store your decision regarding cookie consent together with the date and version, so that we can remember it and demonstrate it.

3. Legal basis for using cookies

Cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to function are used on the basis of Article 173(3) of the Polish Electronic Communications Law (they are necessary to provide the service requested by you).

Other cookies (analytics, marketing, personalisation, functional) are installed only after you have given consent — on the basis of Article 173 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

4. Categories of cookies

We use five categories of cookies. Categories other than “Strictly necessary” are disabled by default and are activated only after consent is given.

  • Strictly necessary — necessary for the website to function and for security; they remember, among other things, your consent choice. Always active.
  • Analytics — help us understand how you use the website (Google Analytics 4).
  • Marketing — enable measuring the effectiveness of ads and remarketing (Google Ads).
  • Personalisation — allow us to tailor content and ads to your preferences.
  • Functional — enable additional features and conveniences, e.g. remembering preferences.
  • A detailed list of specific cookies is provided in the table at the end of this document.

5. Third parties and transfers of data outside the EEA

Some cookies come from third parties, primarily from Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC (Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager).

The use of these tools may involve the transfer of data to the USA on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses (SCC). You can find more information in the Privacy Policy.

6. Google Consent Mode v2

We use the Google Consent Mode v2 mechanism. This means that Google tools adjust their operation to your choice: until consent is given, the tags do not save cookies for analytics or advertising purposes.

Your choices in the banner are mapped to seven Google consent signals (analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, functionality_storage, personalization_storage and security_storage, which is always active as strictly necessary), so that measurement and advertising operate only within the scope to which you have consented.

Ad personalisation (the ad_personalization signal) is enabled only when you consent to both the Marketing and the Personalisation category at the same time.

7. Cookie retention time and validity of consent

The retention time of individual cookies varies depending on their type — from a few minutes, through the duration of the session, up to a period of 24 months. The exact values are indicated in the table below.

We recommend periodically reviewing the consent you have given. You can change or withdraw it at any time.

8. How to give, change and withdraw consent

On your first visit we display a banner where you can accept all cookies, reject optional ones or customise the settings for each category separately.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the “Manage preferences” button on this page. You can also delete and block cookies in your browser settings.

9. Consequences of not giving or withdrawing consent

Giving consent is entirely voluntary. Rejecting or withdrawing consent does not restrict access to the website — we do not use a so-called cookie wall. The consequence may only be limited traffic measurement and the display of ads that are not tailored to your interests.

10. Your rights and contact

With regard to data processed in connection with cookies, you have the rights described in the Privacy Policy, including the right of access, rectification, erasure and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl).

For matters concerning cookies, contact us at: kontakt@faeo.pl.

11. Changes to the Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy may be updated, e.g. due to changes in the tools used or in the law. The current version is always available on this page.
